Step 1 – Select and puff the leftover pieces

Use clean, dry pieces only.

Remove contaminated, mouldy or unsuitable material.

Soak the pieces in water for 3 to 5 minutes.

Place the pieces in a suitable hot-air puffing machine or a microwave oven for no more than 40 seconds, until they expand and develop a light, crunchy texture.
